It's (almost) RAW time

I'm still living, breathing and kicking! Missed me much? :)

What with my vegan challenge going unchallenged the past months (meaning, I'm still (almost) vegan!) things have been silent around here. I lack motivation to post recipes, I don't want this blog to be a diary of what I eat, but apparently, sometimes I need just that.

things were going so smoothly. When cherry season arrived, I dropped like 4 kg in 2 weeks, just by adding cherries to my menu.

Then, back at work, we discovered a restaurant that caters vegetarian meals for quick lunch (and yes, it is RARE!) and I started visiting, just because it's easier than always bringing my own lunch or cook the night before or even in the morning.

Things (kilos) went up again.

And then, my 29nd birthday came and with it, feasts of all kind. Let's just say, on average, I haven't lost a single gram.

It bugs me. It makes me a bit unhappy. I much preffer it when my clothes hang a bit on me, than being trapped inside them. And lately I feel just that.

So maybe time for a new challenge. Lose weight before my vacations. Which I still dont know when it will happen, but according to plans sometime by the end of september.

So, I have roughly 2 months. I REALLY want to shed weight, tone up my muscles and feel great.

I have been eating plenty of raw food, but also plenty of junk (remember? potato chips is vegan, and restaurant meals don't help at ALL).

Can I eat salad everyday? I doubt it. But I'll try to be creative, eat clean(er) and LESS. That doesn't mean less veggies or fruit, but less of other foods. It is difficult, but if I don't write it down, share it, have motivation, I WILL fail.

I'll ty to go as much RAW as possible (but I AM keeping my coffee) and will try to replace my usual meals with soups. It won't be easy, I will have cravings. Let's see how strong my will is.

Today, monday (by pure chance) I start, but have already failed at breakfast :)

My plan & menu:

Monday
B: 1 vegan toast, coffee, orange juice
S: pineapple (a handful)
L: large salad (lettuce, cabbage, cucumbers, carrots)
S & D: watermelon, peaches

Tuesday
B: smoothie (banana, peach, yogurt)
S: peaches
L: zucchini noodles
S:  fruit
D: salad

Do I get any support or fellow people on diet on this? :)

Love.

  1. It is a bit difficult when you're on the vegan as the main in moccasins is meat so that's not a very nice option for a vegan. Source to know about
    vegan reviews.
