Day 91 - grilled zucchini and burger

The salad for lunch left me but hungry. Arriving home I couldn't decide if I was up for spaghetti or potatoes or what (which leads me to think the hunger was only in my mind, not my stomach) so after a while of debating I pushed aside the idea of a cherry smoothie and voted for zucchini and young potatoes... which did not turn out as I wanted them to be, since half of it was not yet done, the other half already too tender and I still have the bitter test of under-cooked potatoes in my mouth. Yuk.


The zucchini and the vegan burger were a whole other thing. So yummi, I regreted making potatoes in the first place. Somehow, I don't like potatoes as much as I used to, anymore. I know, totally weird.

GRILLED ZUCCHINI
serves: 1

1 large zucchini
salt, pepper
ground garlic flakes

Wash and drain the zucchini. With a peeler, slice the zucchini into thin slices, them top them with seasoning and let it soak for 5 minutes.

Heat a drop of olive oil in a frying pan and place the zucchini slices into it, slowly grilling it from both sides. Serve with a seitan burger and maybe potatoes or salad, if you like.
