The peach season is on its highest and we're drowning in peaches. I like them quite firm best and as soon as they turn tender they are not appealing to me anymore.
That is, until I tried to incorporate them into a drinkable version and found heaven.
PEACH'n' BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE
serves: 1 or 2
3 smaller tender peaches (or 2 big peaches)
1 small banana
drop of lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 handful of frozen blueberries (I'm emptying the freezer)
1-2 tbs vanilla flavored yogurt (non dairy)
drop of water (to taste & consistence)
1 tsp açai berry powder
1 tsp hemp protein powder
Put everything in a blender and blend away.
Notes: peel fruit first! :)
