Day 12 - gnocchi in tomatoe sauce


GNOCCHI IN TOMATOE SAUCE
serves: 2

500 g gnocchi
300 ml tomatoe sauce
1 medium onion
2 cloves garlic
1 spoon olive oil

In a pan heat the oil and add onions & garlic, fry briefly, then add a sprinkle of water and sautee until onions turn soft. Remove from pan, add to blender and blend it to a smooth sauce (if thick, add some water).

Reutrn to pan. Add tomatoe sauce, season well and cook on low heath for about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile heat about 2 l of salted water. When boiling, add the gnocchi, stir well and cook until the gnocchi float on top. Remove & drain.

Put your gnocchi on a plate and top with the tomatoe sauce.
